DAY 1 – ARRIVAL IN SAN SALVADOR

Flight to SAL

Time for immigration and baggage claim.

Upon arrival, a representative will be waiting at the airport exit holding a sign with the name VACACIONES WAO and/or your name or that of one of your travel companions.

Transfer from El Salvador International Airport San Óscar Arnulfo Romero y Galdámez (SAL) to the hotel.

DAY 2 – FULL SAN SALVADOR CITY TOUR

06:00 AM – 07:15 AM Breakfast at the hotel

08:30 AM – 04:30 PM

We begin our tour of San Salvador, the capital and most populous city of El Salvador.

Highlights include:

• Plaza Salvador del Mundo and the Monument to the Divine Savior of the World

• Plaza Masferrer

• Historic center: Metropolitan Cathedral, National Palace, and National Theater

• El Rosario Church with its stunning stained-glass light display

• Artisan market of San Salvador and Antiguo Cuscatlán market

In the afternoon:

• Visit to Picnic Steak House and the famous Rainbow Slide

• Stop in Santa Tecla to stroll along Paseo El Carmen, filled with local bars and restaurants

Return to the hotel at the end of the tour.

DAY 3 – MAYA ROUTES EXCURSION

06:00 AM – 10:00 AM Breakfast at the hotel

08:30 AM – 04:00 PM

Pick-up from the hotel for a full-day excursion to the most important Mayan ruins in El Salvador:

• Joya de Cerén

• San Andrés

• Tazumal

• Other archaeological points of interest

Return to the hotel after the tour.

DAY 4 – FREE DAY FOR PERSONAL ACTIVITIES

06:00 AM – 10:00 AM Breakfast at the hotel

Enjoy a free day to explore San Salvador and its surroundings at your own pace. Optional excursions available:

• El Boquerón National Park

• Visit to Suchitoto

• Flower Route tour
