DAY 1 – DEPARTURE TO RIO DE JANEIRO

Flight from your origin to Galeão International Airport (GIG).

DAY 2 – ARRIVAL IN RIO DE JANEIRO + SANTA TERESA & OLD RIO TOUR

• Immigration and baggage claim.

• Upon exiting the airport, our representative will be waiting with a sign bearing your name and/or your travel companions’.

• Transfer from Galeão International Airport (GIG) to the hotel.

• Hotel check-in and free time to rest.

06:00 AM – 10:30 AM

• Breakfast at the hotel.

02:00 PM – 06:00 PM

• Begin the tour in the charming neighborhood of Santa Teresa.

• Discover its history, old mansions, and iconic yellow trams.

• Cross the Lapa Arches and visit the colorful Selarón Steps, one of the most photographed spots in the city.

• End the tour in the historic center of Rio de Janeiro.

• Return to the hotel.

DAY 3 – FULL RIO DE JANEIRO CITY TOUR

• Breakfast at the hotel.

09:00 AM – 07:00 PM

• Panoramic drive through the South Zone, passing the city’s main beaches.

• Ascend to Corcovado by authorized vans to visit Christ the Redeemer, with one of the most spectacular views of the “Marvelous City.”

• Panoramic stops at the Sambadrome and Maracanã Stadium.

• Visit the impressive Metropolitan Cathedral.

• Buffet lunch included (drinks not included).

• Cable car ascent to Morro da Urca and Sugarloaf Mountain to enjoy sunset views over Rio de Janeiro.

• Return to the hotel.

DAY 4 – OLYMPIC BOULEVARD & AQUARIO TOUR

06:00 AM – 08:45 AM

• Breakfast at the hotel.

09:00 AM – 01:00 PM

• Visit the revitalized port area, transformed for the 2016 Olympic Games.

• Entry to AquaRio, the largest aquarium in South America, home to over 8,000 marine animals from 350 species.

• Explore the Oceanic and Diving Tank, the deepest in the aquarium.

• Walk along the Olympic Boulevard with views of Guanabara Bay.

• Final stop at the Kobra Mural, a massive urban artwork by Brazilian artist Eduardo Kobra, featuring vibrant portraits of indigenous peoples.

• Return to the hotel.

DAY 5 – CARNIVAL EXPERIENCE

06:00 AM – 08:15 AM

• Breakfast at the hotel.

10:00 AM – 02:00 PM

• Carnival experience at a samba school.

• Return to the hotel.

DAY 6 – FREE DAY FOR PERSONAL ACTIVITIES
