Itinerary – Classic Egypt

Day 01: CAIRO

Arrival at Cairo International Airport.

Spanish-speaking assistance by our representative before passport control.

Transfer to the hotel and overnight stay.

Day 02: CAIRO

Breakfast at the hotel.

Departure for the included visit to the Three Pyramids of Giza: Cheops, Khafre, and Menkaure, the Eternal Sphinx, and the Valley Temple of Khafre (entry to the interior of a pyramid not included).

In the afternoon, visit to the Saqqara Necropolis and the city of Memphis, capital of the Ancient Empire.

Return to the hotel and overnight stay.

Day 03: CAIRO

Breakfast at the hotel.

Full-day tour of Cairo city:

• Egyptian Museum of Pharaonic Art

• Citadel of Saladin with the Alabaster Mosque of Muhammad Ali

• Khan el Khalili Bazaar

• Coptic Quarter

Optional evening activity: Buffet dinner with show aboard a Nile River boat.

Return to the hotel and overnight stay.

Day 04: CAIRO / ASWAN

Breakfast at the hotel.

Transfer to Cairo International Airport and domestic flight to Aswan.

Arrival at Aswan International Airport.

Visit to Philae Temple and the High Dam of Aswan.

Transfer to the cruise ship.

Lunch on board.

In the afternoon, felucca ride on the Nile River (traditional Egyptian sailboats), offering panoramic views of the Agha Khan Mausoleum, Elephantine Island, and the Botanical Garden.

Dinner and overnight stay on board.

Day 05: ASWAN / KOM OMBO / EDFU

(Full board)

Sailing to Kom Ombo.

Visit to Kom Ombo Temple, the only one dedicated to two deities:

• Sobek (crocodile-headed god)

• Haroeris (falcon-headed god)

Sailing to Edfu.

Overnight stay on board.

Day 06: EDFU / ESNA / LUXOR

(Full board)

Arrival in Edfu.

Visit to Edfu Temple, dedicated to the god Horus.

Sailing to Esna.

Crossing the Esna Lock.

Continue sailing to Luxor.

Overnight stay on board.

Day 07: LUXOR / CAIRO

(Breakfast)

Disembarkation.

Visit to the West Bank of Luxor:

• Theban Necropolis

• Valley of the Kings

• Funerary Temple of Queen Hatshepsut (Deir el Bahari)

• Colossi of Memnon

In the afternoon, visit to the East Bank of Luxor:

• Luxor Temple

• Karnak Temple

Transfer to Luxor International Airport.

Domestic flight to Cairo.

Arrival in Cairo.

Transfer to the hotel and overnight stay.

Day 08: CAIRO

Breakfast at the hotel.

At the scheduled time, transfer to Cairo International Airport.
