TRAVEL ITINERARY – MEDELLÍN

DAY 1 – ARRIVAL IN MEDELLÍN

Flight from SDQ to Medellín.

Time for immigration and baggage claim.

Upon exiting the airport, our representative will be waiting wearing a red T-shirt.

Transfer from José María Córdova International Airport (MDE) to the hotel.

Hotel check-in and free time to rest.

DAY 2 – MEDELLÍN CITY TOUR + COMUNA 13

06:00AM – 08:45AM: Breakfast at the hotel.

09:00AM – 05:00PM:

Explore Medellín’s most iconic sites:

• Pueblito Paisa – traditional Antioquian architecture and panoramic views

• Plaza Botero – sculptures by master Fernando Botero

• Parque de la Inflexión – a memorial space symbolizing Medellín’s transformation

• Metro and Metrocable – aerial views of the city and its neighborhoods

• Comuna 13 – vibrant street art and stories of resilience

A break will be taken for lunch (lunch not included).

Entrance fees included.

Return to the hotel after the tour.

DAY 3 – FULL DAY IN GUATAPÉ + PEÑOL

06:00AM – 07:45AM: Breakfast at the hotel.

07:00AM – 05:00PM:

• Climb the impressive El Peñol Rock – breathtaking views of the reservoir

• Tour Guatapé aboard colorful “chiva” party buses:

• Umbrella Street

• Zócalos Street

• Guatapé sign – perfect for photos

• Speedboat ride on the reservoir with historical narration

• Visit iconic sites like Finca Manuela (former property of Pablo Escobar)

Return to the hotel after the excursion.

DAY 4 – FREE DAY FOR PERSONAL ACTIVITIES

06:00AM – 10:00AM: Breakfast at the hotel.

Free day to explore Medellín or enjoy optional activities:

• Explora Park

• Excursion to Santa Fe de Antioquia

DAY 5 – DEPARTURE FROM MEDELLÍN

06:00AM – 10:00AM: Breakfast at the hotel.

12:00PM: Hotel check-out.

You may stay in the hotel facilities until your scheduled airport transfer, or store your luggage in the lobby and explore until pickup time.

Transfer from the hotel to José María Córdova International Airport (MDE).

Return flight from MDE to SDQ.
