Day 1 – Arrival in Mexico City

Immigration process and baggage claim.

Upon exiting the airport, our representative will be waiting for you with a sign bearing your name and/or that of one of your companions.

Transfer from the International Airport to the hotel.

Hotel check-in and free time to rest.

Day 2 – City Tour of Mexico City + Chapultepec Castle + Mariachi Show

08:00 AM – 01:00 PM

Breakfast time at the hotel.

We will begin with a panoramic tour along Paseo de la Reforma Avenue, where we’ll see monuments such as the Aztec Tlatoani Cuauhtémoc and the Angel of Independence.

We’ll continue to the historic Chapultepec Forest and the residential area, where we’ll see homes of famous people and locations where well-known telenovelas and movies were filmed (panoramic view).

We’ll then head to the Historic Center to visit the Metropolitan Cathedral, the Main Square (Zócalo), and the Government Palace (exterior only, no access), as well as the Aztec ruins of the Templo Mayor.

Visit to a local handicraft market to experience Mexican folk art.

Visit to the National Museum of History, also known as Chapultepec Castle, former residence of Emperor Maximilian.

08:30 PM – 12:00 AM

After returning to the hotel, we will head to the famous Plaza Garibaldi.

Every evening, groups of authentic Mexican mariachis, dressed in traditional attire, gather here to entertain the crowd with their music.

We’ll visit Guadalajara de Noche, a venue just steps away from the plaza, where we'll enjoy a drink while watching a traditional Mexican show.

In addition to mariachi music, we’ll enjoy other iconic songs and melodies that are now an essential part of the country's folklore.

Day 3 – Visit to the Teotihuacán Pyramids + Basilica of Guadalupe

08:00 AM – 05:00 PM

Panoramic visit to Plaza de las Tres Culturas, the historical site of the final battle between Aztecs and Spaniards, symbolizing the fusion of three cultural eras represented by Aztec ruins, the Church of Tlatelolco, and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs building.

Continue to the Basilica of Guadalupe, where we’ll see the original image of the Virgin of Guadalupe.

Learn about how the image was miraculously imprinted on Juan Diego’s cloak and see the old basilica at the foot of Tepeyac Hill.

We’ll then take a modern highway to Teotihuacán, the City of the Gods, located 50 km away.

There, we’ll admire the impressive Pyramids of the Sun and the Moon, walk along the Avenue of the Dead, and visit an obsidian workshop to see a demonstration using obsidian and maguey.

After the tour, return to the hotel.

Day 4 – Coyoacán + Frida Kahlo Museum + Xochimilco

07:00 AM – 10:00 AM

11:00 AM – 08:00 PM

We’ll head south of Mexico City to Coyoacán, one of the city’s oldest neighborhoods.

This area is famous for being home to notable figures such as León Trotsky, Octavio Paz, Diego Rivera, and Frida Kahlo.

We’ll explore Coyoacán’s rich history, from early Mesoamerican settlements to becoming a center of power after the Spanish conquest.

Walk along cobblestone streets and picturesque plazas, admiring 16th-century baroque mansions.

Visit the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM) to admire the architecture of the largest university in Latin America.

In Coyoacán, we will also visit the Frida Kahlo Museum, located in the iconic Blue House, where the famous artist was born, created much of her work, and passed away.

We’ll then take a short break at UNAM.

Continue the tour in Xochimilco, where we’ll enjoy a beautiful mix of natural and cultural heritage.

Board a trajinera, a traditional flower-adorned boat, to navigate the canals and artificial islands, which have been declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

After the tour, return to the hotel.

Day 5 – Departure from Mexico City

07:00 AM – 10:00 AM

Breakfast time at the hotel.

Check-out of hotel rooms.

12:00 PM

You may remain in the hotel facilities until your scheduled transfer to the airport, or store your luggage in the lobby and go out until it’s time for pickup.
