DAY 1 – ARRIVAL IN SAN SALVADOR

• Time allotted for immigration and baggage claim.

• Upon arrival, a representative will be waiting at the airport exit holding a sign with your name and/or the name of one of your travel companions.

• Transfer from El Salvador International Airport San Óscar Arnulfo Romero y Galdámez (SAL) to the hotel.

DAY 2 – FULL SAN SALVADOR CITY TOUR

06:00 AM – 07:15 AM Breakfast at the hotel.

08:30 AM – 04:30 PM

We begin our tour of San Salvador, the capital and most populous city of El Salvador.

• Visit to Plaza Salvador del Mundo and the Monument to the Divine Savior of the World — Jesus Christ atop a globe, the city’s iconic symbol.

• Tour of Plaza Masferrer and the historic center:

• Metropolitan Cathedral

• National Palace

• National Theater

• El Rosario Church with its stunning stained-glass light display

• Visit to the San Salvador handicrafts market and the Antiguo Cuscatlán market.

• Afternoon visit to Picnic Steak House to enjoy the Rainbow Slide.

• Final stop in Santa Tecla to stroll along Paseo El Carmen, filled with traditional bars and restaurants.

• Return to the hotel.

DAY 3 – MAYAN ROUTES EXCURSION

06:00 AM – 10:00 AM Breakfast at the hotel.

08:30 AM – 04:00 PM

We’ll pick you up from the hotel for a guided tour of El Salvador’s most important Mayan ruins:

• Joya de Cerén

• San Andrés

• Tazumal

• Additional archaeological sites

• Return to the hotel.

DAY 4 – FREE DAY FOR PERSONAL ACTIVITIES

06:00 AM – 10:00 AM Breakfast at the hotel.

Enjoy a free day to explore San Salvador and its surroundings at your own pace. Optional excursions available:

• El Boquerón National Park

• Suchitoto colonial town
